Selvom en uge slet ikke er nok - og jeg vidste det - så var jeg gået i stå med min onlineundervisning. Jeg trængte sådan til at sparke en dør ind - og det kom jeg til. På det her kursus bliver man lokket til kun at tale alt det russisk man slet ikke vidste man kunne. Gennem ufattelig tålmodighed og positiv ros lærer man helt utroligt meget og helt utroligt hurtigt. Lærerinderne opfører næsten små skuespil for at få dig til at tale og lære lynhurtigt. Alt materialet er særligt lavet til dig: om dine interesser eller dit land. Jeg fandt min glæde tilbage for at lære russisk. Nu er det skide skægt faktisk. Spændende at bo en uge hos en familie. Det skal man klart prøve. Ved det mindste problem med undervisning, familie, klassen man er sat i kommer de løbende fra alle sider for at redde dig og hjælpe dig. Efter skole hver dag (10-17) er der frivillige kulturtimer i alt fra vodka til museumsbesøg. Selvfølgelig på russisk;) Gør det. Det er hard core indlæring men du vil ikke fortryde!
When I chose Exlinguo I really wasn’t sure what I was getting myself into... as soon as I arrived in their lovely premises and was toured round (seeing the great selection of books and resources) I knew I had fallen on my feet. I had four fantastic weeks here where I improved dramatically because of the enjoyable yet focussed teaching. The extra events were also great fun and gave an invaluable cultural insight. I studied at Exlinguo Novosibirsk for two weeks in June. The experience far exceeded my expectations, some of which were formed from experience learning at a different company's school in the past. From the initial stage of enrolling online / via email, to being picked up at the airport, through to the finishing ceremony, I found all of the Exlinguo staff and teachers to be very professional, friendly, and helpful. My learning was a good balance of group lessons, tutorials, and private lessons, and I never got bored. The after-school excursions were well thought through and planned, and I found them interesting and a refreshing change of pace after lessons, while still contributing to learning Russian. The environment at the school with the teachers and other students was motivating and helped encourage me to study more Russian. My homestay family was very kind, and their apartment was a short walk from the school. Since returning to my country I am studying Russian myself even more now, motivated by my experience in Novosibirsk. I very much would like to go back to the city and to study again at Exlinguo.
Ik heb al twee keer een cursus gevolgd bij Exlinguo in Sint Petersburg: twee weken in 2017 en drie weken in 2018. Een terugkerende klant is duidelijk een tevreden klant. Exlinguo is een zeer professionele organisatie, met getalenteerde leerkrachten en excellent administratief personeel. De leerkrachten doen echt hun best om je te leren kennen en passen hun lessen aan zodat de onderwerpen aansluiten bij je persoonlijke interesses. De lessen zijn zeer intensief, dus studenten kunnen hier maar beter op voorbereid zijn. Gelukkig zijn er naast de lessen ook de gevarieerde sociale activiteiten, waar het leren van Russisch verder gaat op iets lagere intensiteit. Ik ben ondertussen ook verliefd geworden op Sint Petersburg. De kans is groot dat ik volgend jaar nog eens terugkeer!

Le matériel sur lequel vous travaillez est personnalisé, fait sur mesure et vous incite à réagir. Tout ce dont vous pourriez avoir besoin est mis à disposition, en termes de matériel ou de support. De plus, les enseignants, ainsi que les autres membres du personnel, sont toujours à l'écoute. Professionnels et volontaires, ils (elles) se donnent à fond pour répondre à toutes les questions et autres incertitudes que vous pourriez avoir, que cela soit relatif aux événements à venir, à la vie en Sibérie, ou vis-à-vis de vos cours. Tout le long de votre escale à Novossibirsk, vous êtes accompagnés par le staff au cours de chacune des étapes. Le séjour en famille d'accueil est également un bon moyen pour vous faire la main, en utilisant la grammaire vue le jour-même face à d'autres russophones que vos professeurs. De mon côté, après être passé par plusieurs écoles de russe en Ukraine et en Russie, je compte bien repasser par Novossibirsk dans un avenir proche !

I would recommend Exlinguo to anyone who is serious about improving his or her Russian language ability. I had an outstanding experience in St. Petersburg. The staff pays very close attention to individual needs and goals. That is obvious throughout the experience. The school is very well-organized yet informal and intimate. Class sizes are small and really challenge you to raise your Russian competence to the next level. The teachers are the best part of the experience. They are smart, enthusiastic, patient, and really care about us learning Russian language and Russian culture. End-of-day and weekend excursions add to the whole experience. Exlinguo exceeded my expectations. I plan on returning next spring. Thank you Exlinguo!
J'ai vécu deux semaines inoubliables qui m'ont complètement remotivée dans mon apprentissage du russe! j'ai vraiment tout adoré, de A à Z : les cours, les activités, l'organisation, les professeurs, les élèves, la famille! Mon séjour a complètement dépassé mes attentes et je n'ai qu'une envie, revenir le plus vite possible!
I have worked with Exlinguo twice: once in Novosibirsk and once in Saint Petersburg. As a serious student of Russian with the goal of professional fluency (I now work in Saint Petersburg) I highly recommend Exlinguo. Classes are small and are personalized to students' interests. The company's discussion-based approach, combined with grammatical exercises, is highly effective for comprehension and retension of Russian. I found the administration to be admirably accommodating an professional, while the teachers are kind, attentive, and encouraging. I certainly plan to return to Exlinguo when possible!
La mia esperienza ad Exlinguo San Pietroburgo è stata utilissima. In otto settimane sono passata da un livello di poco superiore al B1 al B2, ottenendo anche la certificazione TRKI2. Il livello di preparazione e competenza delle insegnanti è incredibile e anche la mia esperienza con la famiglia ospitante è stata molto positiva. Ho avuto modo di notare che 8 settimane a Exlinguo permettono di imparare molto di più di quanto è possibile apprendere in un anno di università. Consiglio Exlinguo a tutti coloro che sentono il bisogno di migliorare il loro livello di lingua russa.
I'd like to thank all the teachers and administrative staff at Exlinguo for an excellent experience at their school in Novosibirsk. The teachers don't follow a script, they know how to focus on each student, identifying what areas they need to work on, and proactively adjusting their classes, teaching materials and style in order to achieve good results for each student. The school is also brilliantly organized in all non-teaching aspects: facilities are excellent, they organize frequent activities, and provide assistance with accommodation and transfers if needed. All in all, it is easy to recommend them to anybody wanting to learn Russian. Novosibirsk is a surprisingly pleasant city, what it lacks in tourist attractions, it makes up in cultural activities and quality of life.

Exlinguo är ett helt igenom professionellt företag som ändå ger deltagarna en familjär känsla. Jag kan varmt rekommendera deras språkutbildning med mycket duktiga lärare. Jag uppskattade särskilt att varje grupp är så liten; det innebär att alla deltagare är aktiva under lektionerna. Så fort jag får möjlighet kommer jag att återvända för att vidareutbilda mig i ryska språket.
Von der ersten Stunde an fühlte ich mich bei Exlinguo wohl. Sowohl während des Unterrichts als auch während den sozialen Aktivitäten (Kochkursen, Workshops kleinen Exkursionen etc.), welche vier Mal pro Woche angeboten werden, konnte ich mein Russisch anwenden, sowie mein Verständnis für Sprache und Kultur verbessern. Die Lehrer können sich ausgezeichnet in die Schwierigkeiten eines Fremdsprachlers mit der Russischen Sprache hineinfühlen und erklären nachvollziehbar. Auf meine Wünsche und Anliegen wurde Rücksicht genommen und die Themen, die mich interessierten in den Unterricht integriert. Von der Buchung bis zum Abschluss des Kurses ist stets eine kompentente Ansprechperson vorhanden und alle Mitarbeitenden der Schule sind freundlich, interessiert und sehr hilfsbreit.

In just three weeks, I have drastically improved my russian speaking, listening, writing and reading skills. With much hard work accompanied by the strong teaching team at Exlinguo, I passed my TORFL exam with flying colours. This exceeded my expectation! I am now very motivated to improve my russian and I do hope to study with Exlinguo again. Flying to Saint Peterburg from Kuala Lumpur, which takes me more than fourteen hours has been worth every penny! Thank you Exlinguo :)
Studying at Exlinguo Novosibirsk for 2 months was a real joy. All of the teaching and administrative staff were positive and upbeat everyday, and always available to assist either with questions on coursework or on exploring Novosibirsk and its environs. Classes everyday were presented creatively. Modern materials were used, so it was easy for us to see how what we were learning in class can be applied to daily communication. All of the activities arranged were varied, from sleighing with huskies to building a real igloo! Despite what level of Russian students began their course with, everyone made a real effort to communicate in Russian, and it was amazing to see students’ confidence in using Russian grow over the weeks. Exlinguo Novosibirsk has a real family vibe - it’s impossible to leave there without having made new friends.
You can't help but be motivated to learn more and more
I've studied with Exlinguo twice now - once in St Petersburg and once in Novosibirsk and I think these periods have really supercharged my Russian language abilities and understanding. You can learn only so much from text books and on-line resources but if you want to take your studies to the next level then you need to do a course like this. The Exlinguo staff are there to make your life easy and to help you reach your language goals - without a doubt it's the staff makes these centres stand out. When you are being taught by enthusiastic and engaged teachers every day, you can't help but be motivated to learn more and more. From the moment you start making enquires for the course, your questions are answered promptly and the entire experience is smooth and simple. Most of all though it's fun - weekend and after hours activities/excursions as well as the informative presentations in the school (you can see them on YouTube) are all fun and interesting and designed to help your Russian improve in informal social situations. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Exlinguo for achieving your Russian speaking, listening, reading and writing goals and will for sure be returning in the future.
I spent three weeks in St. Petersburg and three weeks in Novosibirsk studying with Exlinguo this Winter. Overall, I have nothing but glowing reviews. From day one at the school, I felt incredibly welcome and the staff were still able to immerse me in the language despite my starting at A0+. After only one day, I already began to feel comfortable communicating in Russian. This was with the help of the teachers, who were nothing but amazing at making the students feel comfortable and involved while studying Russian. The communication classes are primarily focused on speaking and actively communicating and each lesson introduces new grammatical features, providing a step-by-step approach to learning the language. Each day, I was able to apply the new grammatical features I had learnt in order to convey myself more confidently. Immersion allows the student to practically absorb new vocabulary and phrases in a way that is incomparable to studying and memorising out of a book. It is for this reason that I strongly recommend Exlinguo to people seriously wanting to learn how to communicate in Russian (quickly). I was able to reach A1+/A2- in only six weeks, giving me a fantastic foundation to continue my independent study of the language back home. My level of confidence in communication is not something I could have accomplished purely through self-study. Behind the scenes, the school runs like clockwork. The organisation of my visa, accomodation, lessons, school activities, and more was dealt with quickly and without inconvenience. Any problem you may have is, quite literally, dealt with the second you communicate them; the staff makes it very clear that they truly care about adapting to what works best for the student. This (alongside the delicious cookies and tea provided) makes coming to the school five days a week a pleasure. Aside from the school itself, I stayed with a host family both in St. Petersburg and Novosibirsk. This not only allowed me to practice my Russian outside of class, but also experience how Russians live, which I consider an important part of immersion. Plus, coming home to a family providing home-cooked meals, conversation, and even pets (under request) was very comforting for someone like me, who has little experience being away from home. Having a host family allowed me to form connections with Russians and even form friendships, which is priceless to me. All in all, my experience with both Exlinguo schools proved to not only be extremely beneficial for my Russian language skills, but it also made me feel comfortable in the country of Russia. For this reason, I strongly recommend the school to anyone wanting to learn Russian through immersion.

Rozpoczęłam moją naukę rosyjskiego od dwutygodniowego pobytu w ExLinguo w Nowosybirsku. Szkoła przerosła moje oczekiwania, zarówno pod względem samej organizacji pobytu, jak i profesjonalizmu nauczania, o atmosferze nie wspominając. Dlatego, gdy pomyślałam o podejściu do egzaminu TRKI, wiedziałam, gdzie się zgłosić. Tym razem jednak zdecydowałam się na oddział w Petersburgu. Warunki, jakie szkoła oferuje, sprawiają, że nauka jest przyjemnością. Z jednej strony każdy jest tu traktowany indywidualnie, a z drugiej, kładzie się nacisk na integrację poprzez ciekawą ofertę wspólnych zajęć, jak np. wyjścia do muzeów czy gotowanie rosyjskich potraw. Mój pobyt w Petersburgu był krótki, ale bardzo intensywny, a do tego zakończył się zdanym egzaminem. Polecam.

Imparare il russo con Exlinguo è stata un'esperienza veramente formativa. Le insegnanti sono valide, capaci e molto pazienti, specialmente con chi ha un livello di russo un po' basso; io, che sono partito da un livello A0, in due settimane ho raggiunto un livello A1-. Il corso è intensivo e, proprio per questo, si parla preferibilmente in russo: ciò nonostante la comprensione non è difficile. La scuola si trova sulla Prospettiva Nevskij, in un luogo comodo a tutti i servizi. Per ogni necessità si può sempre far riferimento allo staff, che è disponibile a risolvere ogni problema logistico. Cordialità e professionalità sono caratteristiche che contraddistinguono Exlinguo: lo studente non solo è seguito in modo valido, ma è soprattutto accolto. Consiglio a tutti coloro che vogliono approfondire lo studio della lingua russa di prenotare almeno un paio di settimane di corso (ritengo sia il minimo indispensabile per ottenere un miglioramento).
Toda la experiencia en exlinguo Novosibirsk fue fabulosa, desde las clases hasta la ciudad, pasando por los profesores, la población local y hasta la comida de la estolovoyas (restaurantes típicos de autoservicio con muy buenos precios y calidad más que aceptable) cada detalle, aunado hizo de este curso algo único; mi nivel de ruso mejoro mucho en un ambiente auténtico y amistoso y por todo ello no dudaría en recomendar esta academia a cualquiera que quiera mejorar su nivel de ruso y disfrutar de una experiencia inigualable.
